We have a Security Operations Centre based in Peterborough delivering a range of MDR services to customers. Our diverse portfolio of cyber security products and services includes firewall, EDR, cloud, vulnerability management, email, IAM/PAM, SIEM and DDoS mitigation. These are all supported by a broad portfolio of technical and professional services that support our customer’s business needs and priorities.


We are investing into the next generation of cyber security sales consultants offering a fully supported training plan to assist with a quick progression to a full field based role. We are looking for talented, highly motivated individuals with a self starter attitude who wish to become hunter mentality cyber sales consultants.

Requirements

The purpose of this role is to identify and close prospect opportunities cross selling to existing accounts and uncovering and winning new logo business across mid-market and enterprise.


Key responsibilities:

  • Find opportunities in mid-market and enterprise organisations and work with an experienced sales consultant to close
  • Contact prospective customers by phone, social selling, driving attendance to events and email/content campaigns
  • Manage time effectively to enable you to achieve your target
  • Work closely with your manager to develop your approach
  • Complete the training provided to expand your knowledge of Pentesec and the wider cyber security market


Experience & Qualifications you'll need to succeed:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills
  • Good time management and analytical skills
  • Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy
  • Tenacious with a can-do attitude

You may also have (but this is not a requirement for the role):

  • Worked for a cyber security vendor or reseller
  • A cyber security related degree
