Meet the team:

The Product Security team at Argo ensures that our self-driving systems are protected from harmful attacks, unauthorized access, and any other attacks that could interfere with the safety or operations of our vehicle systems. The Product Security team performs activities associated with securing our system through threat modeling and security analyses, architecture & design, trade studies, implementation support, verification and test development, penetration testing, fuzzing, and more through cross-functional collaboration with multiple internal and external teams.

What you’ll do: 

  • Hack our self driving stack and improve the security of our product with your detailed reports
  • Work with engineering teams to successfully plan and conduct your testing projects
  • Write proof of concept exploits
  • Connect with research and hacker groups to stay up to date with modern attacks
  • Research new attack vectors against autonomy functions

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics
  • Experience in embedded systems penetration testing
  • Experience with reverse engineering of firmware or ELF binaries
  • Ability to develop and explain technical decisions and recommendations effectively
  • Passion for security and dedication to find new threats and vulnerabilities

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD build ecosystem
  • Experience in automotive cyber security
  • Familiarity with incident response processes
  • Experience with open source whitebox fuzzing tools
  • Familiarity with ISO 21434 Automotive Security
