The Information Security Lead role is critical for Truecallers’ ongoing success and our mission - to build trust. 

The role has a holistic responsibility to develop, maintain and conduct oversight of Truecallers’ various security initiatives. Your role will focus on the strategic development and operations of Truecallers’ ISMS, including developing policies, implementation, and following up the information security operations. You will be working closely with all of the business units and support functions across Truecallers’ global practice to promote information security awareness and organize continuous information security training for the personnel. 

You will be a part of one of the fastest growing apps in communications, a company full of passionate, brave, bold and fun people.

What do we expect from you:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in information security
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
• Experience with information security architecture
• Experience in modern software development practices
• Knowledgeable in business continuity management practices 
• Able and capable to have a strategic mindset whilst also diving deep into details
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST  CSF
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity
• Excellent understanding of information security best practices
• Experience of security incident management
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented at all times, especially when driving change.

 What will you work on:

• Work directly with Truecaller’s Business Units related to risk assessments, security risks, technical security standards,  and general information security advice
• Monitor and further develop Truecaller’s Information Security Management System (ISMS)
• Coordinate information security incidents
• Perform internal it- and information security assessments
• Be responsible for information security awareness training
• Facilitate and participate in information security related projects
• Be responsible for RFPs and stakeholder questionnaires / audits regarding information security

It would be great if you also have

• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM
• Technical infrastructure security experience
• Cloud security (GCP experience especially)
• Knowledgeable within risk management, processes and controls, as well audit.
