As Senior Security Engineer, Enterprise IT you will join Infrastructure Security Team. The team's core mission is to improve the security posture of Bitstamp's hybrid infrastructure that hosts Bitstamp's applications and corporate utilities. Your primary task will be to work with our enterprise IT team to ensure the security of corporate networks, email, identity and access management, endpoints and push the zero-trust model. You will also need to work closely with other security teams and system operations to threat model and deliver solutions that solve security and observability issues systematically.

What you'll do

• Identify, mitigate, and remediate issues, and vulnerabilities related to the security of endpoints, servers, networks, AD and other types of assets.
• Introduce the the zero-trust model.
• Design and implement secure by default systems with infrastructure and application development teams.
• Introduce new tools and techniques that improve observability, governance and secure usage of devices.
• Maintain and own sections of security infrastructure.
• Support cross-functional teams to reconstruct relevant events, and mitigate/eradicate threats.

On day one you'll bring

• 3+ years experience working in enterprise it, security, site-reliability engineering, cloud security, or system engineering.
• Experience managing security appliances such as Checkpoint.
• Experience with securing the Microsoft ecosystem (o365, workstations, servers, AD, Exchange).
• Solid development or scripting experience in a mainstream programming language (preferably Python, Go and/or bash).
• Engineering mindset.

We'll love it even more if you have

• A love for writing and communicating what you do, especially blog posts, having talks at meetups or conferences.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud.
