WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Security Engineering Consultant

  • Review alerts and raise support tickets based on issues identified that require remediation or investigation
  • Identify, track, and help remove roadblocks to ticket resolutions
  • Provide consultative investigation/remediation support to users & clients when needed
  • Document and maintain troubleshooting, technical support guides, and knowledge base articles that will aid self-service responses to support tickets
  • Support customers in securing Azure subscriptions via Access Control Lists (ACLs), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewalls, or other Azure based security services 
  • Advise customers new to security updates on how to maintain their systems
  • Provide input that contributes to the advancement of technical support services
  • Respond to customer feedback - resolve concerns and apply conducive recommendations as necessary
  • Be a subject matter expert on information regarding CVE’s and 3P data sources
  • Help engineering team understand risk exposure as scope of service changes

  • Your experience
    • 4+ years of security program manager or security engineering experience
    • Strong understanding and background in Azure, specifically in Azure networking (e.g., default ports and monitoring)
    • Familiarity with ports used for Azure apps and functions
    • Proven expertise in Network security– familiar with port numbers, TCP/IP, seven-layer model, firewalls
    • Broad experience with penetration testing
    • Good background in customer service and proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, as well as with external parties
    • Ability to create easy to understand user guides and process documents
    • Possess strong attention to detail
    • Good understanding of security concepts
  • We'd be especially excited to talk to you if you have:
    • Relevant professional security certifications (CISSP, CCSP, etc.) and/or cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
    • Experience across various Azure security services and tools
    • Proactive, self-starter mentality. Ability to be efficient and effective with limited direction and provide continuous visibility into activities and results

LOCATION:

Kalles Group is steadily growing our talent pool across the USA!
