We’re one team doing the right thing for our customers, communities, and each other. Position Overview:  As our Senior Manager, Cyber Security you’ll oversee a portfolio of Red Team and Training security initiatives and vendors that support the safeguard of company's assets, intellectual property and computer systems. You’ll also Identify Penetration Testing and Training goals, objectives and metrics consistent with security plans.  Work Location:  Work may be performed remotely from anywhere within the 48 Continental United States. Key Duties and Responsibilities:·       Identify, coordinate, execute, and help operationalize global security efforts across the company in support of Red Team (Penetration Testing Activities) and Training, in collaboration with various other functions including information technology, Cloud and Managed groups, human resources, communications, legal, Blue Team (penetration testing activities), facilities management and other groups.·       Manage the development and implementation of Penetration Testing and Training/Awareness standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of applicable security programs. ·       Perform vulnerability testing: network security architecture, network access and policies, and more. ·       Manage employee security education and awareness. ·       Work with outside consultants as appropriate. ·       Assume leadership, guidance and coaching of assigned teams. ·       Work closely with other teams within GSS to achieve objectives. ·       Lead the Red Team by planning and coordinating penetration testing activities to provide comprehensive penetration testing, develop and deliver reports, and ensure the safe and effective use of penetration testing methods designed to test Rackspace security systems and Rackers. ·       Ensure effective planning, execution, and delivery of security training and awareness programs. Manage training team and ensure training objectives align with the overall objectives of GSS.  Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:      ·       Expert knowledge of security intrusion methods, detection and prevention. ·       Expert knowledge of standards, security controls, information technology and information security. ·       Excellent management, communication and change management skills. ·       In depth knowledge across a broad spectrum of cyber security area. ·       Ability to translate current cyber threat techniques and knowledge of vulnerabilities into safe and effective testing techniques through programing, customizing tools, etc. ·       Strong ability to develop training objectives, metrics, and apply the objectives to different audiences of varying technical backgrounds. ·       Strong skill set on current cyber threats and mitigation controls. ·       Expert knowledge of pertinent law and the law enforcement community. ·       Ability to communicate technical info and ideas so others will understand. ·       Ability to make appropriate decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions. ·       Ability to apply varying leadership skills and traits that create solutions and results to unexpected situations. ·       Ability to think globally and address issues locally with speed, commitment, and consistency.  Required Experience/Education/Certification: ·       Requires a minimum of 8-10 yrs related Cyber Security experience ·       Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.·       High school diploma or equivalent required.·       At least two advanced security certifications, or equivalent work experience. For example, Offensive Security certification (OSCP, OSEE, OSWE), GIAC certification (GCIH, GWAPT, or GPEN), or (ISC)2 certification (CISSP, SSCP, CCSP). Pay and Benefits: The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $114,000- $150,000.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
