What you'll do at Jamf: 

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. We are looking for Security Operations Engineer to our Cloud and Delivery team.  

Our infrastructure is based on Kubernetes, Linux and is 100% cloud based. We are deployed on more than 20 globally distributed data centres across 5 different cloud providers. And our Security Operations Engineers are the guardian angels of all that, using a range of technologies and processes to make sure that everything is tight and secure. What about the team?

You will be part of a multinational and geographically distributed team: our current SecOps team is mostly based in Katowice (Poland), and we are now focused on hiring a number of positions in our Brno office.  

 

What about our past and present projects? 

  • Perform security incident analysis, response and remediation. 
  • Implement WAF, IDS/IPS and Vulnerability Scanning. 
  • Configuring a SIEM platform to provide real-time alerting and anomaly detection. 

 
What do we expect from you? 

  • Knowledge and experience with IT security principles, security operations, techniques, and technologies. 
  • Experience with working with Linux/Unix operating systems, including shell or python scripting. 
  • Experience with network engineering and security principles. 
  • Experience with industry standard configuration management and deployment tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet or other). 

 

It will be plus if you have: 

  • Experience in administering some or all of Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, ELB, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, IAM, ElastiCache). 
  • Experience in working with monitoring (Logic Monitor, AppDynamics, Zabbix, etc.) and logging tools (Splunk, Sumologic, or ELK (ElasticSearch/Logstash/Kibana). 
  • Advanced knowledge of containerization concepts and Kubernetes. 
  • RHCE (RedHat  Certified  Engineer), AWS Solutions Architect  Associate, AWS Certified Developer Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Associate, AWS Certified Security.
