  • Position Overview:

    • You will be a valuable member of the pre-sales Solution Consulting team positioned as the expert on how the Diligent GRC HighBond Solution can be used to improve and modernize their reporting process.
    • You will relate your experience in public sector audit, A-123, governance, risk or compliance working on similar complex workflows and projects to meet deadlines and exceed expectations with legacy or modern tools / processes.
    • You will help relate the value drivers of a modern GRC solution to end users and senior executives in Federal Agencies and how adopting the Diligent GRC HighBond Solution will lead to their positive business outcomes.
    • You will support Sales and Product Marketing to customize the sales and marketing motion to focus on the unique characteristics of the Public Sector Federal audience.
    • You will represent Diligent as a Subject Matter Expert at government centered conferences, including thought leadership roles, participating on panels and working groups, and evangelizing the Diligent GRC Solutions.
    • You will author / co-author white papers and thought leadership marketing materials (blogs, posts, articles, analyst reports) to raise brand awareness in Public Sector.
    • You will develop product demonstration and product technical expertise to support customer sales cycles.
    • Collaborate within the Diligent ecosystem of Solution Consultants, Solution Architects and Client Partners to develop, design or enhance Federal specific use cases and translate these into referenceable demo environments.
    • Collaborate with Client Partners to deliver innovative solutions to our strategic customers.

     

    Required Experience/Skills

    • 5+ years previous experience working at a Federal Agency performing Audit, OMB A-123, Governance, Risk or Compliance work. Management responsibilities a strong plus but not required.
    • 2+ years previous experience in a client facing consulting role with a B2B SaaS a strong plus but not required.
    • Hands on understanding of the project workflow requirements from an end user and executive perspective, with the ability to identify the risks and challenges of the process and recommend / demonstrate how a modern software tool would improve the outcomes.
    • A passion for process improvement and helping public sector organizations with their modernization journey.
    • Confidence in presenting modernization tools, concepts, and recommendations to end users and executives in support of the sales team.
    • Strong communication, both written and verbal
    • Aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how it can improve business processes
    • Knowledge of the Audit, OMB A-123, Governance, Risk or Compliance landscape
    • Strong business problem solving skills
    • Knowledge of BI, Machine learning and SQL
    • Programming language (e.g Python) is a plus
    • The ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
    • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or information systems
    • CPA, CISA, CISSP, or a risk management designation is a strong asset
