About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated SOC Analyst Tier III to add to our Cybersecurity Governance Team. This individual works closely with our product development and technology operation teams, helping to ensure that the Company’s networks, infrastructure, and applications are free from security holes and follow best practices. Incident and threat monitoring and response is a core responsibility for this position.Details:

What you'll do:
- In depth threat intelligence, monitoring SIEM events, bug bounty program, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats on systems and infrastructure
- Assists with managing and prioritizing actions during detection, analysis, and containment of an incident
- Working with the Product, DevOps and IT teams to integrate security best practices throughout the business units. This includes implementation, operations, verification, design, and governance practices
- Ensuring security of applications, infrastructure and systems, through regular assessments and/or auditing of systems and recommending automation of controls where applicable
- Collaborating with the development team to ensure security is addressed adequately in the Systems Development Lifecycle
- Audit and compliance support
- Testing, selection, and implementation of security technologies
- Assessing security of Cloud Service Providers
- Vulnerability and Penetration Testing
- Security gap remediation and tracking
- Security Playbook development and testing
- Work with Tech team to assist with threat & risk modelling and analysis
- Metrics development
- Training the operations team and creating on-boarding materials for security and deployment practices
Requirements
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Network defense – tasks include monitoring, discovering, and analyzing possible threats.
- Ethical hacking – must know how to detect threats and report vulnerabilities in a manner that ensures the organization remains protected from attacks. Know how to perform perpetration testing for systems, web applications, and networks to find vulnerabilities.
- Incident response – must have experience managing events and incidents effectively and timely, and in a manner that reduces the impact of breaches. Should also be able to provide recommendations that can help prevent future security breaches.
- Computer forensics – must be familiar with computer forensic techniques that can help prevent cybercrime. Tasks include collecting, analyzing, and reporting security data.
- Reverse engineering – (Nice to have) Able to read and understand the operation and performance parameters of software programs, and at a higher level of skill, should be able to reverse-engineer malware.
You also have:
- 5+ years of work experience in a technical IT security role
- You are proficient in security architectures, cybersecurity best practice frameworks, and knowledge of risk assessment techniques
- Experience working with Cloud Infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience incorporating security practices within development and operation teams
- Experience with application data security, threat intelligence, and cloud security configurations.
- You enjoy collaborating with teammates to get things done.
- A passion for continuous learning
Education Requirements:
- B S degree in Engineering or Information Technology related field
Desired Certifications (one or several of the following):
- Certified Ethical Hacker
- CompTIA Security+
- CISSP
- AWS Security Certification
