We are looking for a self-drive professional for leading our cyber defence and threat intelligence team. In this role, you will be hiring, training, solutioning, and leading the cyber defence and threat intelligence team. This involves setting up a robust Security Operations Centre (SOC) with capabilities to monitor, detect, protect and respond to threats in an effective and timely manner.  You will also be expected to build a lean team and leverage automation capabilities to detect and protect Upstox environment and data.
Roles & Responsibilities:-Engage with the devops team to integrate security in the CI/CD pipeline.-Define the processes, practices, and tools enabling CI/CD, maximising the speed, security, and quality of product delivery.-Primary responsibility is to focus on strengthening the posture in pre-deployment for container images and infrastructure. -Build security posture around container harding and K8s environment. -Develop tools / rules to build detection techniques for cloud environments. -Leverage both commercial and open source technologies to build the solutions. -Analyse and integrate latest security trends, publications, and researches pertaining to defending against cyber attacks. -Ensure adequate compliance to regulatory laws and best practices around information security-Build a collaborative, happy, & growth environment for team members.

Experience Required:-8+ Years of experience in the space of cybersecurity. -Working knowledge in AWS or any other cloud environment. -Prior experience in integration of security in CI/CD pipeline. -Hands on experience in setting up policies for K8 environments and container security. -Good working knowledge in scripting / programming languages such as python / Go / Java. -Built and designed tools for monitoring of cloud environments. -Hands on experience in setting up monitoring solutions for K8s & containerized environments.

Good To Have-Contribution to well-known open source projects.-Developed tools independent of work-related projects.-Published papers / articles in cyber security.
