We are hiring a DevSecOps Transformation Consultant to play a critical role in building and sustaining customer relationships, while driving the adoption of Veracode solutions to help customer’s meet their business objectives in dynamic security environment. The DevSecOps Transformation Consultant is a high impact, role that works closely with the Veracode Customer Success team to build long-term business relationships with our customers to grow our business.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and business savvy, bringing a consultative mindset and approach to their work. Candidates will have the ability to work cross-functionally and deliver effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences; the ability to translate complex problems and solutions in a clear manner. What you’ll be doing

• Engage Veracode customers to better understand their business objectives and assess their current software security maturity to help provide a transformation strategy, roadmap and plans to deliver customer value
• Drive the development of assets (tools, models, playbooks, etc.) that can be used during a transformation engagement
• Assist and advise on the effective use of Veracode security products and their alignment with a customer's DevSecOps journey during Executive Business Reviews
• Provide customer-oriented feedback to internal product development groups to guide the future direction of the Veracode solutions
• Maintain knowledge with shifts in DevSecOps, development methodologies, and software security trends. Share insights with internal and external leaders on new developments within the industry

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in the information security or software development industry
• Understands the effects of people, process, technology, and governance within DevSecOps; experienced with leading large-scale change management projects
• Ability to collaborate with and motivate groups towards a unified goal; must be effective working independently and in a team setting
• Must have a customer-focused mindset, able to guide a customer through their challenges; strong listening and relational skills, able to gather customer requirements, scope, and prioritize accordingly
• Trusted advisor mindset from demonstrated business results guiding executive and stakeholder leadership
• System integration and automation experience with an emphasis on CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
• Experience with software security technology (AppScan, Veracode, Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, etc.)
• Hands-on problem solver who is proactive and can self-manage a challenge through to resolution
• Must be willing to travel 10-25% (post COVID normalization)

Additional experience that will help you be successful

• Secure SDLC and DevOps mindset and familiarity with Agile Frameworks (SAFE, Scrum, Lean SD, etc.)
• SDLC - Integration, Application Servers, Database Architecture, Network Architecture experience
• Familiarity with application types (monolithic, microservices, API’s, etc.)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Cloud Formation, Lambda, Load Balancers, VM’s, etc.)
• Containerization systems & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Security certifications such as (CISSP, CSSLP, DevSecOps Foundation Certification, Cloud Certifications, etc.)
