Reporting to the Senior Manager of Security Operations, the Lead Security Developer will be instrumental in our continual improvement of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls. The Lead Security Developer will work on upcoming DLP projects including micro-segmentation, data discovery, and the expansion of DLP controls to cloud services in use at ATB. Security Analysts will be responsible for monitoring DLP events, working with business units on identifying process improvements to ensure sensitive data is handled correctly, and working with the data governance team on identifying additional data types and implementing additional policies.

Role Accountabilities

• Communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals of all levels of a large organization in-person or remotely.
• Lead incident response as it relates to DLP violations
• DLP Playbook development
• Monitor DLP systems for events that may indicate threats to ATB.
• Work with team members that are triggering DLP rules on improving work flows.
• Develop new custom DLP policies for additional data types of concern at ATB.
• Ensure DLP policies on consistent on all DLP platforms
• Plan, design, test and deploy DLP systems and controls in on premise, cloud and SaaS services.
• Work with the Data Governance team on data discovery and classification.
• Work with the Data Governance team on closing gaps in our data protection strategy
• Work with security architects, developers and analysts to ensure DLP controls are applied appropriately within security systems and platforms.
• Take initiative to escalate and/or resolve any additional cyber security risks or provisioning gaps identified during the course of their work.
• Generate reports that show the effectiveness of our DLP controls

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 5 years of general experience in IT Security.
• Knowledge of information security and data protection concepts
• Preference applied to those that have CISSP or GSEC certification
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention tools.
• Experience with Cloud Security
• Ability to prioritize work with competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication, Able to quickly translate complex technical information into common language for Stakeholders and Team Members.
• Dynamic individual with team player qualities: integrity, accountability, adaptability and motivation.
