About the Role

We are looking for someone who is keen to roll up their sleeves and work closely with the Satago team to develop, support and transform our public facing, fast growing finance platform.

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Leading the Information Security function, developing and operationally running systems with the goal of securing our people, assets and product through effective implementation of security polices, procedures and supporting technology
• Embed the principle of security as a core business enabler
• Engender a security conscious culture that embeds security decision making into the fabric of the organisation
• Manage risk and cyber security, overseeing risk reduction programmes and initiatives that implement tactical and strategic capabilities
• Build a right-sized security function, that establishes credibility across business functions - from Board to Engineer
• Deliver modern and compelling security controls across corporate and product teams
• Completing security vulnerability analysis or assessment and taking an active role in external audits, as necessary
• Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unusual, unauthorised, or illegal activity
• Working directly with the Engineering and support teams to ensure that security is embedded throughout the lifecycle
• Managing a team of security analysts, support them and develop them

Requirements

If you have some or all of the following experience please apply:

• Experience in the development of security strategy, policy, best-practices, processes and frameworks
• Identification and delivery of new compliance controls, policies and procedures required for certification and re-certification
• Develop, deliver and maintain an effective security training programme
• Risk, Information and cyber security management of corporate and product assets
• Security solution assurance, spanning technical assurance, framework compliance and supplier assurance
• Development and upkeep of security roadmap, including influence of the product roadmap for alignment with the security strategy
• Security operations, including direct management (incident detection and response) and outsourced security management, within organisational SLA’s
• Plan and execute disaster recovery and BCP plans
• Creation and execution of contingency plans in the event of any security breaches
