Ripple’s Global Physical Security team is looking to bring on board a high-performing professional who can help the team as it pursues a range of opportunities. The Intelligence and Threat Mitigation Analyst is responsible for conducting comprehensive all-source collection, analysis, and dissemination of security threat intelligence products concerning the global risk environment. This position is responsible for gathering and analyzing information from a variety of sources to determine significance and promptly inform senior management to create decision advantage, while strictly adhering to established analytic standards of being objective, accurate, timely, relevant, and actionable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Extended support to assist with the identification and mitigation of credible threats to Ripple employees, brand, and assets globally
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and relevant information & analysis that informs risk mitigation decisions, safeguarding Ripple employees, brand, and assets globally
  • Proactively ensure Ripples Global Security Team partners, senior leaders and stakeholders have a heightened level of situational awareness around existing and emerging trends and risks
  • Collection, development, and dissemination of intelligence threat and intelligence-related data to identify and evaluate Ripple-specific threats and trends
  • Support the design and implementation of Ripples internal intelligence program
  • Utilize and build threat management tools to assess and validate intelligence, pertaining to Ripple specific threat/threats actors
  • Provide actionable intelligence for Executive Protection in support of Ripple leadership, travel, and attendance at events

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Open-Source Intelligence Collection: 2-3 years (Required)
  • Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and an aptitude for rapidly assimilating new information
  • Demonstrated history in supporting physical security teams
  • Demonstrated experience in social media monitoring and analysis
  • Aptitude for clear and effective written and verbal communications under time-sensitive conditions
  • Ability to assess information quickly and accurately for credibility, relevance, and importance
  • Ability to establish priorities, multi-task, work independently, and complete objectives in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Working knowledge of G-suite
  • Schedule flexibility and the ability to work night and weekend shifts
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to assimilate and effectively leverage new technologies
  • Working knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting
  • Proactive, energetic, and collaborative
