The Information Security Engineer Intern position will work within the department an collaborate with IT, product, engineering and cloud teams to identify, address and remediate vulnerabilities within the environment. The role will assist with automating and improving mitigation response. Additionally the position will help the organization respond to incidents and build playbooks.     Responsibilities  
  • Explore and learn fundamentals of security, data, tooling, monitoring and response.
  • Understand and execute against Jamf’s vulnerability patching policies and standards.
  • Investigate SIEM logs to identify vulnerabilities and attacks. Use this information along with
  • an understanding of Jamf’s security controls and processes to propose identify gaps in defense.
  • Analyze vulnerability scans and infrastructure to assess and document risk posed to Jamf.
  • Effectively communicate and discuss findings with internal stakeholders including leadership and technical team members
  • Assist in development of playbooks.
  • Provides guidance for the removal or remediation of vulnerabilities to products and hosted infrastructure
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Pursuing a degree in in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related programs.
