⭐ We are looking for a Technical Product Manager - Threat Research to join our Product team! This person can work remotely or out of our NYC headquarters. 

The Threat Research Technical Product Manager will be attached to the Product Organization and will work in strong collaboration with the threat research team.

This person will in charge of DataDome Threat Research roadmap and work to drive market leading thought leadership, bringing critical insights, knowledge development, academic research partnerships, blog posting, and DataDome research reporting useful to external & customer technical teams.

The Threat Research TPM will serve as the critical bridge between our TR team and DataDome’s product roadmaps, highlighting critical value in threat research which can add value to our product solving customer problems.

This person will bring a strong developer leadership to better understand and anticipate the requirements coming from our customer's tech teams, while also helping our tech team to create new features targeting this category of customers.

🎯 You will be more specifically in charge of the following:

  • Work with the threat research team to identify key needs that can be solved with our research efforts
  • Bridge between threat research efforts and engineering efforts guiding the evolution of the product’s ML, detection, and knowledge functions
  • Maintain a technological watch on competition regarding signal development and detection
  • Collect and analyze feedbacks and requirements coming from our customers tech (Dev & DevOps) teams
  • Propose technical solutions to our customers regarding use cases and new areas or methods of detection
  • Propose external events (like meetups) to contribute to or events to host in order to drive thought leadership
  • Contribute to tech blog articles (Dev & DevOps) and key thought leadership efforts
  • Roadmap process and quarterly roadmap updates
  • Go to market enablement, launch, and product knowledge collateral development
  • Organizational communication around Product detection, reporting, and its evolution
  • Support ticket reviews

👤 What we are looking for:

  • Exceptional ability to tell a compelling story with data
  • Strong technical expertise in Software Engineering, especially in web stacks
  • Leading Application Security knowledge and background
  • Deep, working understanding of enterprise security organizations and their missions
  • Excellent organizational & leadership skills
  • Great Communication skills with peers and external stakeholders
  • A passion to make a positive impact on their customer’s success

What are the next steps?

  • You will do a one hour work session on the current challenges we’re facing with our VP of Product, Head of Research, Data Analyst Manager and Lead Data Scientist 
  • The final step will be a one-on-one meeting with our CEO
