Identity & Access Management Security Analyst

San Diego, CA

Working within the Information Security organization, the Security Analyst, IAM is passionate about building out an IAM program. This position will collaborate with all core platform and enterprise business units to understand and detail their access requirements and propose solutions that meet SIE's security compliance standards. The successful candidate will also help to develop operational processes for identity lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze reports from multiple identity sources and follow documented procedures
  • Coordination of work assigned to offshore team members
  • Liaise with HR vendor to resolve issues related to contingent workers
  • Interact with business customers to verify employee reporting status, assigned roles, and entitlements
  • Complete projects in support of critical IAM roadmap initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to develop innovative identity management solutions
  • Attend daily scrum meetings and plan activities in a scaled agile framework
  • Lead or participate in project team meetings
  • Track project activity, report on progress toward completion, raise issues, and record metrics
  • Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures
  • Maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Conduct program outreach to business collaborators to describe scope of IAM projects to gain support and adoption
  • Analyze information around critical platform services and identify potential technical/business process gaps for remediation
  • Collaborate with IT DevOps teams for tool design/build functionality
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking innovative practices; participating in professional societies

Qualifications:

  • Successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • 3-5 years of Identity and Access Management experience
  • An adaptable and flexible demeanor, allowing them to approach and solve a problem by examining it from different angles
  • Ideal candidate will have proven ability and success working within the information security and/or identity management disciplines
  • Exceptionally self-motivated, effective multi-tasker who thrives in a small team environment
  • Well-developed analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in a SAFe, agile business environment
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, LDAP, DB, AWS IAM, UNIX/Linux
  • Prior experience with identity management tools (e.g. RSA IG&L, Aveksa, SailPoint)
  • Experience with PCI and SOX audit programs
  • Good understanding of RBAC methodologies
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security
  • Security industry certifications are a plus
