The Security Department oversees security, compliance, GRC, and security operations for all Agoda. We are vigilant in ensuring there is no breach or vulnerability threatening our company or endangering our employees in order to keep Agoda safe and protected. The Opportunity: 

You will be working in a fast-paced SecOps environment where you will design, setup, configure process automation of our security stack. 

 In this Role, you’ll get to:  

•  Play a lead role in improving overall security practitioner efficiency through process automation 
• Design, engineer, deploy, and maintain custom automation products 
• Build security tooling and automation for internal use that enable the Security team to operate at high speed and wide scale 
• Define and own metrics and key performance indicators to determine the effectiveness of the Security Automation program
•  Produce quality automation code 
• Create automation to reduce time to remediation within the platforms 
• Constantly engage with teams to identify shared problems and develop automation 
• Identify, collect, and report metrics related to threat intelligence, content development, and automation 
• Manage the effectiveness of tooling, rationalizing tools as needed, and identifying new tool needs as necessary 
•  Assist with the configuration of application security tools, monitor output and assist developers with remediation of code vulnerabilities 

What you'll Need to Succeed:

An understanding of how to write code that is not only secure but scales to a large number of users and systems 

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang, Rust, Python, Ruby, etc) 
• Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) 
• Ability to communicate clearly on technical issues Expert in computer security incident handling, Advanced Persistent Threat, and insider threat 
• Proven track record in working in an automated testing pipeline (integration + system + functional + use case validation) driven by a continuous integration framework 

It's great if you have: 

• Experience with Kubernetes 
• Experience with infrastructure as code processes and tools 
• Effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders from top management to technical teams. 
• Excellent writing and communication skills. 
• Experience identifying automation requirements and designing solutions to address test execution challenges 
• Experience diagnosing and debugging sophisticated systems 
• Can work multi-functionally and influence other teams and groups 
• Ability to think analytically, problem solve, reduce data sets, and innovate
