Laika is looking for a Customer Assurance Analyst to join our InfoSec Assurance team You will be working with a world class team of information security and compliance experts where you will help our customers demonstrate information security best practices against sought after infosec frameworks. About Us

Laika (heylaika.com) combines modern technology with expert support to help SaaS companies manage security compliance, security audits, and enterprise procurement security diligence. We help companies design stage-appropriate controls, obtain infosec certifications/audits like SOC 2 or ISO 27001, stay compliant with regulations like HIPAA and GDPR, and build trust with enterprise customers for whom security is a fundamental “must-have” requirement.

We were founded in May 2019 and recently raised our Series B funding from top VCs, including JP Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Canapi and Bain Capital. Our customers and revenue are growing like crazy, and we are poised for breakout growth over 2021-2022.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with customers to verify security controls based on sought after information security frameworks 
  • Translate security and compliance requirements into actionable tasks for team members to execute 
  • Test and review implemented controls based on established security and privacy frameworks
  • Propose novel ideas for product features and ops improvements or opportunities for automation to empower better customer experience 
  • Most importantly: help Laika reimagine the information security audit experience 

Knowledge Skillsets / Knowledge Requirements 

  • 0 - 2 years of progressive information security audit or consulting experience 
  • Motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible and adaptable
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team-oriented with an ability to work well independently
  • Preferred: Experience working with industry recognized security frameworks 

Your Compensation

  • The compensation band for this role is $70,000 - $95,000 based on experience and skillset
  • Early equity in a fast-growing company
