What We’re Looking For:
The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for the secure development and maintenance of Robin’s infrastructure in AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
Working closely with developers and systems operations you will ensure the security of our cloud hosted platforms. This position requires a good understanding of network security and deep knowledge of Linux systems administration as well as previous experience working in Amazon Web Services and/or Google cloud.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. A desire to learn containerization best practices is a must.

We’re Hiring Someone Who Will:

• Function as a cloud security engineer for a complex systems software development and service deployment project, and provide technical support in developing, maintaining, and using cloud infrastructure.
• Administer, operate and maintain components of AWS and Google Cloud platforms.
• Monitor and manage EC2, S3, RDS and other pertinent cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain automation processes for deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
• Resolve complex Linux operating systems administration issues.
• Secure VPCs, VPNs, operating systems and web applications against compromise.
• Assist security vulnerability assessments and penetration testing along with internal teams and 3rd party vendors.
• Assist in documenting security, data and network policies
• Monitor high-availability and disaster recovery plans to maintain business continuity and SLAs.
• Work with internal teams to maintain their products in a cross cloud environment.
• Assist Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practices (DevOps).

You’ll Succeed In This Role If You Have:

• Have 3+ years of experience working as a Cloud Systems Engineer or related field. 
• Linux systems administration and strong scripting experience. 
• Experience with Kubernetes and Container Security.
• Good understanding of IAM (AWS and Google preferred).
• Experience with infrastructure automation in AWS.
• Experience with firewall rules such as iptables and AWS security groups.
• Experience with Monitoring and Centralized Logging systems such as CloudWatch, SumoLogic and DataDog.
• Ability to quickly and correctly deliver under urgent circumstances while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Good understanding of networking and security, (VPC Peering, AWS Security Groups, WAF etc.).
• Ability to write clear documentation.
• Experience with git. 

It’s An Added Bonus If You Have:

• Experience with Okta SSO deployments.
• Experience securing Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail etc.).
• Experience with AWS SSO and AWS organizations.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
