Infrastructure Security Engineer

What the job will entail:

• Provide security guidance on a new/existing cloud infrastructure and technologies.

• Assisting development, QA and and systems engineers in incorporating security at every stage of product delivery.

• Looking for vulnerabilities, security issues and risks in hardware and software.

• Finding and implementing the best methods and tools to secure the IT infrastructure and networks within the organisation.

• Constantly monitoring systems for attacks and intrusions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in DevOps/Security culture

• Experience in Cloud Security

• Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software and networks

• Experience in performing threat modelling of highly connected systems

• Knowledge and experience designing security aspects of distributed systems

• Ability to seek out vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure and networks

It would be a bonus if you

• GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer Certification or have experience in Google Cloud Platform Security

• Have experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code.
