What will you be working on

As our Security and Privacy Officer you will be the face of IXON when it comes to all Security and Privacy related topics. Together with your Security colleagues you will be at the forefront of information security, business continuity, access management, privacy, data usage, and much more….

You will be in charge of shaping IXON’s management strategy when it comes to cybersecurity and privacy and you will decide the priority, based on your own risk assessments. You will also promote security awareness in the organization and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (Like ISO27001 and GDPR). You will work in close collaboration with our different teams to ensure security is given the priority it requires.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and maintain IXON’s internal security policies;

  • Perform risk assessments to determine priorities;

  • Coordinate and follow-up on security incidents;

  • Stay up-to-date on all things related to security;

  • Train colleagues on proper cybersecurity practices and increase security awareness;

  • Proactively look for and suggest areas we can improve in (technical security, processes, policies, documentation, etc.)

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated experienced team player who can hit the ground running, working together with our security specialists in the business of keeping IXON secure. You will need to be organized, have a risk-based mindset and have the ability to understand and explain your security decisions to team members and management.

Does that sound like you? If you also meet the following requirements, you’re just the person we are looking for:


  • Broad knowledge and experience with cybersecurity;

  • Experience with ISO 27001 or GDPR is preferred;

  • Experience with Cloud solutions, Linux and/or software development is preferred;

  • An enthusiastic and persuasive personality with excellent communication skills that enable you to have a good conversation at any level of our organization;

  • You can shift attention easily and enjoy working on a diverse range of tasks and projects related to cybersecurity;

  • Fluent in English, both verbally as well as in writing;

  • You are available full time.
