The Information Security Project Manager crafts, designs, and implements information security projects that can keep pace with the ever-changing threat landscape. This role requires a strong IT background to help align information security to a fun, fast paced environment, and drive the successful execution of critical, risk-driven initiatives within Information Security. Information Security projects have board visibility, and are both technical and non-technical.

What you'll do:

  • Participate in running projects for the Information Security Team
  • Establish project scope, schedule, and budget and track performance against those baselines.
  • Provide leadership to and facilitate the work of cross-functional project teams by clarifying project objectives and defining the work needed to accomplish these objectives.
  • Continuously assess project risks and issues and recommend courses of action to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain Security Policies, Procedures, and Process in accordance with compliance regulations
  • Responsible for end-to-end management of projects: managing projects through concept, project planning, development, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Participate in developing, maintaining, and improving project management standards, tools, templates, and processes.
  • Support internal security education and awareness campaigns
  • Drive change management, overall project control, and team participation
  • Prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects
  • Collaborate with partner teams on IT compliance, security engineering, and security operations
  • Foster collaboration, strategic alignment and integrated planning and execution across different functions in a matrix organization.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum 3+ years of technology project/program management
  • Ability to effectively work as part of a cohesive and agile team.
  • Awareness in managing regulated data environments (e.g. PCI, ISO 27001, SOC 1, SOC2, SOX)
  • Exposure to privacy frameworks
  • Ability to remain organized and to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including team members, other internal departments, and external parties
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion in confidential matters
  • Preferred:  PMP
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • High level of patience and courtesy is required to deal with individuals and their varied technological skill levels
