Your New Gig 💼

By now you’ll have done your research, read our catchy bio and will have seen first hand how the BANXA product has become one of the fastest growing players in the industry (well, at least we hope you have!). To further our exponential growth, and to ensure our data is secure while the business is compliant;  we’re searching for a Cyber Security Analyst to support the Head of Security in developing & implementing Banxa’s information security program. Your role is business critical and you will succeed by ensuring that a consistent set of controls are in place across our departments in effect  safeguarding Banxa’s data while we further expand  🚀

What You'll Do 👀

• Maintaining security documentation suite 
• Communicating cyber security posture and gathering audit evidence for external compliance requirements
• Driving consistent information classification ratings and working with tools to enforce this (eg SASE) 
• Ensuring strong IAM across Banxa systems via defined roles with least privilege
• Assisting with the configuration and running of security tools 
• Contributing to Banxa’s security training and awareness program 
• Maintaining internal controls library and assessing control effectiveness by line managers 
• Performing vendor assessments and working with vendors to improve security posture
• Working with internal stakeholders to ensure security requirements for projects are clearly communicated and delivered
  
  

You should apply if ✅

• You have experiance as a Security Consultant/Analyst covering internal/external audits or IT controls.
• Solid grounding in IT & cyber security concepts (access management, vulnerability management, vendor risk management, etc)
• Knowledge of common industry frameworks, such as CPS 234, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, ISM (Nice to have)

• Experience as a Security Consultant/Analyst covering internal/external audit or IT controls.
