Senior Security Operations Analyst

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced security professional to manage the design and execution of the operational functions of Attentive security program. Our Security Engineering and Corporate Security teams are building and implementing security tooling that generates outputs that need to be actioned (alerts, findings, reports etc). To realize its intended value, this work needs to be complemented with optimized operational functions for each of these outputs.
We are looking for someone to help design, implement, and lead the day-to-day execution of scalable, measurable, repeatable operational aspects of key security domains (Vuln Management, Incident Response, Access Reviews, etc).
This individual will be responsible for identifying areas of Attentive security practices that could benefit from improved operations, collaborating with stakeholders to understand all required outcomes, and implement standardized runbooks for these areas with a keen eye for automation. This individual will report to the Manager of Attentive’s Security GRC team, and will work with teams across Attentive security and key partner teams to support security objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate areas of our program that could benefit from improved procedures/process
• Implement those processes/procedures and be the primary person responsible for getting them “done”
• Design and implement automation across operational programs to make security processes repeatable, scalable, and secure
• Own the applications and tooling configurations that support automation used in operations
• Create, measure and report on KPIs as a measurement of operational program health
• Provide integral feedback and guidance on the integration of new playbooks, use cases and workflows to be adopted across the entire InfoSec team, as well as other parts of the organization
• Create and maintain documentation around technical processes and procedures
• Identify, evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and issues as they arise
• Create a culture of excellence around operations for Attentive’s Security Program

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in security operations
• Broad familiarity with security operations topics that affect distributed teams, including access, network, vulnerability, and change management as well as managing endpoint security and insider threats
• Experience with ITSM/Ticketing tools (JIRA, JIRA Service Desk preferred)
• Experience using scripting to improve security controls and investigations
• Experience with security automation tooling (SOAR)
• Working technical knowledge of modern enterprise systems, software, protocols, and standards
