Olive is looking to continue building a world class security team and is looking to further improve the techniques utilized to protect the data entrusted to Olive. The security analyst plays a critical role in maintaining Olive’s current security practices as well as designing and implementing new security controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the information technology team to ensure that company network infrastructure and employee hardware is appropriately hardened and monitored.
  • Follow the latest security CVEs for software utilized by Olive and provide remediation recommendations.
  • Manage third party engagements to perform external audits and penetration tests.
  • Perform internal risk assessments, and security policy updates.
  • Respond to security events and work with appropriate stakeholders to achieve timely resolution.
  • Work with the sales team to navigate security conversations during the sales process.
  • Lead security awareness training across the organization.
  • Identify security risks and vulnerabilities and define remediation strategies.
  • Regularly audit security controls and track gaps in performance providing recommendations to update controls when needed.
  • Perform table top simulations across disaster recovery, crisis response, and incident management with cross functional leadership.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in information security
  • Experience optimizing and managing SIEM tools
  • Experience with Active Directory or other directory services
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning packages such as Nessus or OpenVAS
  • Experience with internal penetration testing tools and best practices
  • Knowledge of the NIST 800-53 security framework
  • Experience with security in an environment audited by SOC 2 standards.
  • Basic programming or shell scripting experience
  • Experience designing and following disaster recovery and incident response policies.
