The chosen RFP Security Specialist will have a solid background in proposal writing, information security, technology concepts, and language. In addition, a familiarity with corporate compliance and contracting language. In this role, you will interpret and respond to technical and information security (InfoSec) questions/questionnaires that are part of the RFP process and/or the pre-Sales onboarding process. You will work closely with the InfoSec team, developing clear and accurate responses that can be understood by technical and non-technical readers alike. You will also get to manage and update responses in our RFP content library related to technology and information security as well as general responses related to functional technology, contracting, SLAs, etc. Are you looking for a Sales Support position that intersects with Information Security? Requirements

Some Things You Will Do:

  • Support the Sales and RFP team, as it relates to functional technology, security, and privacy (i.e., acts as SME on technical/security question sets in RFPs).
  • Manage prospect security questionnaires pertaining to security practices, policies, and controls.
  • Coordinate with InfoSec team for final approval of responses to all questionnaires.
  • Be familiar with security certifications as well as industry-standard security questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ).
  • Work with InfoSec team (and/or content manager) to develop, update, and maintain information security/privacy content.
  • Answer and manage one-off sales and contracting questions related to information security.
  • Ensure final submissions are clear, concise, error-free, and consistently formatted through drafting and review processes.
  • Ensure submissions are stored on the correct drives.
  • Attend proposal kick-off calls and strategy sessions, as needed (depends on size and depth of InfoSec/Tech requirements).

Some Things You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, computer science, or related field. Professional certifications a plus (e.g., CISSP, CIA, CISA, CRISC).
  • 3+ years of a general background working with technology, privacy, and InfoSec content and questionnaires.
  • Previous experience with developing proposals and coordinating responses to RFPs /RFIs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Process-oriented (able to break tasks into sequential, repeatable steps).
  • Impeccable attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent project management skills (effective communication, organization, and planning capabilities).
  • Experience using and managing content libraries.
  • A willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
