Summer 2022 Application Security Intern

The application security intern will be working with the application security team to audit and improve http security with our web applications. This will include improving reporting, working with development teams to schedule remediation and communicating technical concepts to teams to help them remediate issues.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Learn security concepts related to http and web applications.
• Understand and potentially improve our simple reporting tool.
• Improve communication techniques to improve organization's knowledge of security information.
• Working with teams to communicate and schedule issue resolution.
• Present security concepts to security champions

Required Experience:

• In Junior or Senior year working toward a bachelor’s degree in cyber/information security, computer science or relevant degree
• Must have completed at least one semester of business education classes
• One-two semester of coding experience, ideally Java or .NET
• Some experience in .NET
• One semester of networking concepts
• Strong computer skills (Excel)
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp new technology
