The Role…

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Head of Cyber Security will lead and have overarching responsibility for Willows security posture on an international scale. You will be responsible for providing a highly scalable, reliable, and effective security foundation that serves the customers and business operations of the company.

As we scale our business internationally, security has never been more important to us.

 

Responsibilities

Overall Cyber/Information Security strategy

Be a critical partner to the Product, Engineering, Finance & Partnerships, IT, Legal in achieving top-level company goals

Leading and growing the Security Team to meet our needs as our product increases in complexity and Willow expands globally

Inform and provide guidance to the Willow leadership on security issues, priorities and opportunities

Initiate and drive company-wide programs, such as security certifications, new infrastructure rollouts, or large-scale service, product or process redesigns

Grow the security culture by identifying training opportunities and programs, and making security relevant to the day-to-day thinking of every Willower

Provide security expertise to the company across the cloud, application, enterprise, and detection/response, either directly, or by sustaining a diverse and healthy team

 

Qualifications & Experience

A security practitioner, with at least 10 years experience in several of the following domains: Cloud Security, Application Security, Enterprise Security, Authentication Systems, Data Privacy and/or Incident Response, BCP

Experience architecting and leading transformative security programs in several of the following domains: Product Architecture; Infrastructure Architecture; Certifications and Compliance; Data Privacy

Experience in building and implementing new security programs

Strong knowledge of information security best practices, standards and frameworks

Comfortable, experienced, and accomplished at working with business senior leadership team, and able to diplomatically push back and educate leaders at all levels

Previous experience in software or systems engineering would be extremely beneficial in the role

Start-up experience/mentality is also a plus
