Cyber/Network Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect and maintain the integrity of our systems and data.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential security breaches.
• Monitor computer networks for security breaches and intrusions.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and security threats to ensure our network and information security is always current and effective.
• Create and maintain security documentation, including incident reports, security logs, and security risk assessments.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, including responding to security alerts and analyzing security log data.
• Work collaboratively with IT professionals to support other aspects of information security as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Solid understanding of cloud security models and technologies.
• Experience with endpoint and mobile device security solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
