Sr. IAM Engineer

San Diego, CA

Sony Interactive Entertainment is searching for a highly proficient candidate to join SIE’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) team which is responsible for IAM tool deployment, enhancements, and maintenance. This individual will work with various collaborators (HR, Legal, IT, InfoSec, etc) to build out and enhance existing IAM tools and engineer new solutions. The selected candidate will be capable of defining and completing well-constructed operational strategies, processes, and procedures; as well as have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Information Security and other key partners to build out and enhance SIE’s Identity and Access Management solution (Saviynt) by building and maintaining an Access Request system, onboarding a wide variety of applications, enhance features of an already established tool and help design documentation around processes configured in Saviynt and other tools!
  • Ability to work in a majority SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise) environment with flexibility to leverage waterfall project delivery processes when required.
  • Resolve identity related issues across the SIE organization.
  • Contribute to strategic roadmaps for IAM systems and programs for SIE.
  • Conduct regular or emergency maintenance or software upgrades as the need arises
  • Support dev / engineering teams alongside other IT DevOps staff
  • Continuously work with partners to enhance and evolve IAM program
  • Prepare documentation for audits and acts as POC for audit issues

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability in automating solutions
  • 10+ years working with IAM toolsets
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Develop automation and/or scripting to augment any IAM solution as required
  • Saviynt experience required
  • Documentation of standards, methods and diagrams of environments
  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload with minimal supervision
  • Be available on an on-call basis to respond to pending issues or problems arising during non-business hours and provide support and response.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies!
  • Ability and willingness to work with team members in different time zones

Qualifications:

  • Experience with IGA tools (Saviynt, SailPoint, RSA, etc)
  • Scrum / agile experience required
  • Scripting experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of Active Directory (AD), IT processes and procedures, information security, and systems implementations required
  • OneIdentity Active Roles experience preferred
  • Sailpoint experience a plus
  • AWS architecture, design and deployment experience preferred
  • Experience conducting User Access Certifications through an IAM tool.

Education:

  • BS./B.A. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
  • Technical certifications a plus, but not required
