The Advisors Director of Identity and Data Management Services Demand is key to customer acquisition for Optiv’s Identity and Data Management solutions and collaborates with sales and delivery entities to fuel Optiv Cyber security solutions growth; with responsibility for pre-sale operations and assisting with the strategy. Major areas of responsibility include business leadership, sales support, and client satisfaction/project success. This position has People Management responsibilities for the IDM Advisors.  IDM Advisors are technically adept service sellers that can position Optiv and IDM services through thought leadership, consultative selling, Proposal and SOW development, and negotiations to achieve success in the presales process.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure world-class proposals, consultative selling and sales execution that meet our client’s needs.
  • Lead your team in change to support and execute against the Optiv strategy
  • Work closely with technical solutions architects, commercial management, delivery teams and other support organizations to ensure close link between customer requirements and our ability to deliver appropriate solutions 
  • Compile, negotiate and administer vendor, outsource, and consultant contracts and service agreements as required 
  • Mentor and Coach Advisor Demand Managers
  • Develop and maintain an educational environment where the knowledge and performance of the group is constantly advancing in both their consultative selling and domain knowledge
  • Establish relationships with key customers and provide overall guidance and support in driving positive customer experiences throughout Optiv
  • Drive demand generation across the full portfolio including sales enablement support 
  • Identify cross-sell & up-sell opportunities to successful completion across the Identity and Data Management & Services portfolio to best meet our client’s business and technology needs  
  • Oversight of the proposal & SOW creation process
  • Achieve expert-level knowledge in multiple Practices solution areas and be able to effectively translate client needs into actionable proposals and contracts for Optiv’s strategic offerings in a timely fashion. 
  • Identify and understand our client's security concerns and how they correlate to Optiv’s strategic solutions across the Identity and Data Management practices and compliment holistic cyber security programs 

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university in Technology, Information Security, Engineering or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • 10+ years of professional services or Identity and Data Management business leadership experience 
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales, post-sales, or non-sales technical capacity in an information security environment. 
  • Experience with Top IAM and Data Technology Products and Partners; Sailpoint, CyberArk, Ping, Okta, MFST, ForcePoint, OneTrust, Venafi, Varonis,  BeyondTrust and Saviynt
  • Experience in leading and driving complex projects and managing client expectations and challenges at an executive level 

Preferred:

  • BSc, Bachelors in Computer Science and/or Engineering; Degree in commercial discipline, telecommunications, IT or related field is an advantage 
  • Security certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSK are desirable
