Senior Cyber Security Officer (Fusion)

Description of Task to be Performed: AnaVation is seeking a to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA. As a Senior Cyber Security Officer (Fusion) you will support our Mission Fusion Operations Manager to summarize and provide consolidated operations updates working with Threat, Vulnerability, Host Based Security, and Watch operations teams. This position supports 24x7 operations, and continually drives tradecraft and training across our operations team.
Duties include but are not limited to: Performs a variety of Computer Network Defense (CND) functions which are broad in nature and support multi-tier CND functions to include, but not limited to, systems engineer, vulnerability management, and support to cyber operations. Provides threat, vulnerability management, watch, and host based security reporting, assessments, and customer support. Provides support for proposing, coordinating, implementing policies, standards, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
• Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience related to specific functional area. (or 12 years of experience with no degree).
• Certifications: Currently hold (or be able to attain prior to start date) a CompTIA CYSA+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
• Experience and knowledge on:
• Experience providing coaching and mentoring to operational team members.
• Experience leading cybersecurity oversight, collection, and analysis of threat intelligence, event analysis, and incident response.
• Experience organizing and scheduling 24x7x365 operations in a cybersecurity, IT or related watch environment.
• Experience consolidating and reporting on daily performance and health metrics to provide ongoing situational awareness to Government leadership.
• Experience developing and continuously improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Experience with vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence, and intelligence fusion.
• Understanding of classified Government networks, technology stacks, and cybersecurity operations.
• Experience with providing oversite and coordination role in support of cross-agency response teams.

• Military experience with intelligence analysis and reporting.
• Military experience with cybrersecurity operations.
• Military experience providing training.
• Strong written skills.
• One or more areas of deep cybersecurity expertise.
