Do you want to drive IT security solutions for Calgary’s industry leaders?
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic Security Solution Architect for our Calgary Branch! In this role, you will deliver security solutions to our clients across a broad range of industries and technologies!

A Day in the Life:

• Support Long View’s security and cloud portfolio by working with customers and internal stakeholders, defining customer solutions, and delivering engagements that are innovative and exceed business requirements 
• Continuously improve team processes to ensure information is of the highest quality, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team
• Design, architect and implement cloud discovery and security solutions to meet customer requirements
• Provide detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information
• As a trusted advisor, deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
• Validate clients' existing architecture, identify gaps and assist the various business and technical teams with gathering their business use cases
• Team up with other senior consultants to create and implement proven solutions
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of professional IT security experience across a wide range of technologies including systems, network, server, and cloud offerings
• Expert consultant in security architecture design patterns and implementation
• Technical strength and capability of implementing Microsoft security components (MCAS, PIM, Defender for Identity, Endpoint, Office 365, Conditional Access, etc.)
• 5+ years industry experience as subject matter expert in the Microsoft suite of products and Microsoft Security Stack:
-> Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and security analytics -> Network security including firewalls, perimeter security, and endpoint protection -> Digital forensics and investigation -> Enterprise SOC integrations -> Policies and compliance -> Cloud architecture patterns (Hub and Spoke, Subscription Design)
• 5+ years industry experience with integrating multi-technology solutions across diverse technologies and platform through technical consulting
• Good understanding of the Linux system and usage
• Experience writing and developing scripts and templates for automation
• Broad knowledge of multiple hardware and software technologies and strong experience in working with complex solutions comprising both
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS, etc for assessing systems and designs
• Strong communicate and ablility to drive recommendations

• Recognized cyber security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP , TOGOAF, Cloud Architect , Azure Cloud Architect
• Experience with Securing DevOps pipelines and scripting
