Detection Engineer Analyst, SME

• The Detection Engineer Analyst SME will support the production of detection use cases.
• Detection Engineer Analyst SME will provide senior-level knowledge and IA abilities to support detection monitoring activities.
• Detection Engineer Analyst SME will utilize logs and alerts from host operating systems, network intrusion prevention systems, endpoint detection and response tools, anti-virus and host intrusion prevention systems, and other sources to create the ability to detect malicious or unauthorized activity on the network.
• Applicant selected will develop and perform various IA tasks in accordance with customer requirements in order to successfully support detection monitoring requirements.

Requirements

• Certification Requirements: This position will require DoD 8140.03 IAT Level III compliance. Selected candidate must hold a valid IAT Level III certification.
• Education/ Experience: A bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or information assurance is required. Experience with IA tools such as eMass or ACAS preferred. 
• Security Clearance: An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Applicant selected will be subject to security investigation(s) and must maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
