Jr Incident Response Analyst - Onsite in Miami, Fl.

As a cutting-edge technology company, we are searching for a Jr Security Incident Response Analyst to join our
exceptional team. Kaseya is a leader in delivering groundbreaking solutions that empower businesses to
thrive in the digital age. In this position, you will Assist with the triage, review, and handling of Security
Operations Center Service Catalog Deliverables under advisement of more experienced peers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Incident response management and triage including containment and eradication of confirmed
    threats.
  • Collaborate with affected parties to ensure remediation steps are taken.
  • Communication of  cybersecurity incidents to stakeholders as necessary
  • Provide timely and accurate incident reports
  • Conduct proactive and ad-hoc threat hunts for malicious activity. 
  • Identify suspicious activity, and potential incidents, and respond to security events in real time.
  • Basic Malware Analysis – Analyze malware through dynamic methods (executing programs in a controlled sandbox) and basic static methods of common plaintext files (PowerShell scripts, HTML files, etc).

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  •  Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as: BTL1, Security+, GSEC, GCHI
  • Cross-domain certifications
  • CCNP, Network+, Linux+, CISA
  • 1 year in a SOC minimum (High performer)
