Job Description

This position will be responsible for implementation and supporting security across our entire SAP ecosystem. As an SAP Security Analyst, you would be working closely with our IT, business and internal/external audit and compliance teams. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Following security standards and procedures, assist in SAP role design, troubleshooting, and business information requests. 
• Implement end to end SAP security roles and authorizations for projects and enhancements. 
• Work with Business Owners to define security requirements. Such requirements will include user roles, authorizations designs, access control and compliance monitoring. 
• Capable to maintain and troubleshoot complex security issues, setup issues, and process improvements while working with IT Business Analysts. 
• Provides support for Incidents linked to SAP security in accordance with established Service Level Agreements. 
• Participate in internal/external and compliance audits. 
• Assist with Segregation of Duties (SoD) across SAP ecosystem. 
• Analyze requests to adequately assess risk and best practices to implement acceptable solutions, aligning business and security requirements. 
• Ensure compliance by keeping systems and applications in a validated state according to legal and corporate requirements with respect to, e.g. FDA and SOX; maintain appropriate policies and procedures. 
• Identify system and process gaps, construct project proposals and deploy solutions. 
• Work closely on deployment of strategic roadmaps, initiatives, and projects. 
• Conduct QA validations and participate on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tests. 
• Configure SAP role-based access controls in Identity Access Management platform. 
• Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail. 

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience. 
• At least 3+ years of Identity Access Management experience. 
• Expert knowledge of SAP security design, implementation, and administration across all modules 
• Capable of communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences with varying skills sets, communicating with both technology providers and business leaders. 
• Experience with SOX audit/assessment/examination 
• Demonstrated experience teaming with business and IT stakeholders to deliver projects and organization change management. 
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
