Your area of work:
The Threat Intelligence & Threat Hunting Unit at Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) is embedded within the Department of Group Security and ensures the mitigation of operational risks. As part of our team, you will take a decisive role in threat intelligence to provide internal stakeholders with actionable information about crime, civil unrest, terrorism, natural hazards, armed conflict, and hybrid threats bearing a risk to business operations. The daily balance between operational tasks and strategic thinking required for threat intelligence offers you a wide range of opportunities to strengthen your security management expertise and foster your problem-solving and communication skills. We are looking for a hands-on Threat Intelligence Specialist with excellent analytical thinking and a strong team spirit who can demonstrate a proven track record of understanding security management in its corporate complexity.  
 

Your responsibilities:

  • Employ OSINT, SOCMINT tools and techniques to provide internal stakeholders with actionable intelligence about crime, civil unrest, terrorism, natural hazard, armed conflict, and cyber security bearing a risk to business operations.
  • Maintain oversight on geopolitical developments worldwide and provide analytical reports on geopolitical events with a (potential) impact on the company’s business.
  • Conduct risk assessments at Deutsche Börse Group sites worldwide to determine the physical security classifications of buildings and resulting risks.
  • Provide timely and accurate information about risks to Deutsche Börse Group business travellers ahead and during business trips or assignments to be complaint with national and international Duty of Care requirements.
  • Ensure a timely response to incidents and crisis, including on-call duties.
  • Contribute to process management and documentation and provide regular reporting formats for internal stakeholders.
  • Point of contact for law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
  • Ensure close collaboration with internal departments, including Group Security, Group Risk Management, Compliance, etc. for the creation of a comprehensive threat landscape and effective risk management. 
  • Ensure regular benchmarking exercises with organizations of similar size, industry, and geographical exposure to share knowledge. 
     

Your profile:

  • Postgraduate degree in security management, geopolitical analysis, or international relations; Professional experience in related fields is desirable. 
  • Relevant certifications in risk management, crisis management, and cyber security, are a strong asset.
  • Working knowledge of OSINT, SOCMINT, and other threat intelligence tools.
  • Experience in threat intelligence report creation.
  • An independent and structured working approach with a hands-on mentality. 
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
  • High proficiency in English.
