DevSecOps Engineering Lead, NA Technology

We are searching for a seasoned DevSecOps Engineering Lead to champion the maturity and adoption of automation and security in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of DevSecOps practices across our organization, fostering a culture of collaboration between development, security, and operations teams.

In this role you will:

• Champion the adoption of DevSecOps principles and best practices across the organization.
• Contribute towards DevSecOps policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with application developers and leadership to integrate security considerations throughout the SDLC.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of DevSecOps initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities within the application codebase.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the DevSecOps space.

 

 

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in engineering roles, with a minimum of 5 years focused on DevSecOps.
• Proven track record of leading DevSecOps adoption in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, and security scanning tools.
• Experience working with and influencing application developers and leadership.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data-driven approach to problem solving, with a focus on measuring and demonstrating the value of DevSecOps initiatives.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in a cloud-native environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
